Yesterday, the team at Breaking Clay welcomed a pair of newcomers to the exhilarating world of sporting clays at Hunting Hills, the perfect venue to do so. Why? Well, for starters, the gun shop on the premises carries a wide array of firearms, ensuring a perfect fit for every enthusiast, along with a generous stockpile of ammunition and supplies. In fact, you can shoot before you buy, ensuring you’re 100 percent satisfied with the firearm before purchase. Once equipped, visitors can shoot two distinct sporting clays courses, each offering its own unique challenges. And for those seeking variety, there's also Make-or-Break, Trap, and Skeet to enjoy! If Hunting Hills hasn't yet graced your itinerary, it's time you paid it a visit!
Final reminder: this Saturday, October 10th, California Hill Gun Club is hosting the annual Tom Teagarden Clay Shoot. All the info you need to sign up is below!
California Hills Gun Club (Brownsville, PA) is also hosting a “Haunted Birds” registered sporting clays shoot on Sunday, October 25th. Register online by clicking here.

What is trapshooting?
Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4-1/4 inch clay target which are launched through the air from a single machine simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

What is sporting clays?
Sporting clays courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate wingshooting, and six different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter the experience of actual hunting conditions.
