Hunters Sharing the Harvest offers a commendable avenue for donating venison, ensuring it is distributed to individuals who will genuinely benefit from it. Roscoe Sportsmen’s is hosting another night of their popular Cosmic Clays this Friday night. Clubhouse opens at 5:00 p.m. and shooting commences at dusk!
This Sunday, Buffer Creek Sporting Clays (Somerset, PA) is hosting the Fayette County Firefighters Association Sporting Clay shoot, which is open to anyone. $120 per shooter or $480 for a team of four, with ammo and lunch provided!

What is trapshooting?
Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4-1/4 inch clay target which are launched through the air from a single machine simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

What is sporting clays?
Sporting clays courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate wingshooting, and six different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter the experience of actual hunting conditions.
