MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Library Sportsmen’s Association (Finleyville, PA) is starting their winter Doubles Trap league on Thursday, January 8th. Registration fee is $10. Sign-up starts Thursday, December 18th.
For ten thrilling weeks, the Doubles Trap league unfolds, a symphony of precision and skill. Each week, $20 grants you the chance to face 50 clay targets, culminating in a grand total of 500 by the league's end.

What is trapshooting?
Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4-1/4 inch clay target which are launched through the air from a single machine simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

What is sporting clays?
Sporting clays courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate wingshooting, and six different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter the experience of actual hunting conditions.
