Sporting clays at Hunting Hills!
Happy Memorial Day! Please remember and honor all who served.
Trap doubles at The Dormont-Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen's Club is canceled today due to the holiday.
Hunting Hills was prime for sporting clays shooting yesterday morning! If you weren’t able to make it out this weekend, remember you can partake in their Wednesday night “Steak shoots” throughout summer. To make reservations please email [email protected] or call the lodge at 724-324-2738.

What is trapshooting?
Trapshooting is a game of movement, action and timing. It requires the accuracy and skill to repeatedly aim, fire and break the 4-1/4 inch clay target which are launched through the air from a single machine simulating the flight path of a bird fleeing a hunter.

What is sporting clays?
Sporting clays courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate wingshooting, and six different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter the experience of actual hunting conditions.
